I’ve eaten the best biryani outside Hyderabad in a Deira basement restaurant with no website. The best Iranian grills anywhere were in Dubai. But this is truly what is Dubai known for among those who dig deeper – a melting pot of flavours you won’t find elsewhere.
So here’s my attempt to cut through things to do in Dubai. Yes, the Burj Khalifa is worth seeing. Yes, the Dubai Mall with the ski slope is a peculiar thing that exists. Dubai Fountain
